Remarkable Ventures Climate fund (RVC) is proud to announce its investment in BoxPower, the first investment from its new fund. BoxPower’s vision is to make sure every rural energy consumer has access to clean, reliable, affordable energy. The Grass Valley, CA-based company designs, installs, and operates modular solar microgrids for utilities, rural communities, and other customers looking to decarbonize and de-risk their energy generation and transmission.
RVC is excited to back Angelo Campus, Anderson Barkow, and the BoxPower team as they help speed the transition to a more resilient, renewable power grid. They are already working with some of the largest utilities in the United States – and they are just getting started.
